Promoting Digital Literacy through English Proficiency

This month of October, we celebrated the ENGLISH montth. The theme is "Promoting Digital Literacy through English Proficiency". In this celebration, English proficiency goes digital.

Digital literacy is the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and analyze information using
digital technology.Just like when we make use of some digital devices. We gain more knowledge about  English Proficiency.  Nowadays,  internet is very common for us all. Many of us  uses it for communication, many uses it for watching movies, and many more. As we use and open websites, most common of them uses English as the default language. So as we read, we gain more knoledge for our vocabulary. Even if without the internet, there are also so many games and application in computers that can promote english proficiency.

CHEMERGY:Chemistry and Science Club In Synergy

Chemergy is a neologism or a new word  for Science Month in the Philippines. Altho meant to be a kenning of "chemistry" and "synergy" with the meaning of "combination of ideas in chemistry and science.

Last  September we celebrated the Science month with the theme: "CHEMERGY:Chemistry and Science Club In Synergy". There were many activities about science and it is very good. Unfortunately we were not able to join many of the contest of the science club. Many of us know that Chemistry is the study of chemical and substances, so with the help of science club  we can do more  with Chemistry for the better of  our lives in the future and also today without destroying our mother earth. But even with the help of Science it will be hard to restore the beauty of our mother earth.

Science  has given many contributions in life. It has always been a part of everything we do. And it will continue to help mankind.

" My Teacher, My Hero "

They are the heroes that has no superpowers or any special abilities. But they can make us good people and help make our dream come true.
In earlier times to the present, they are still here to help us achieve our goal in life. They are our beloved teachers and our second parents. Without them, we will not be able to fulfill our goal. They teach us even if it rain hard or not. Some teachers wanted to go teach even if it is very far. Because they wanted us to have a better future. To have a good job in the future. They teach us to pass their knowledge that their teachers have taught them.
I have spent 11 years studying and I am now in my 12th year and now going to graduate in high school. But I will not forget my teachers when I wil go to college.

"My Modern Hero"

Many heroes like Gagamboy, Captain Barbell The Panday Kids, Darna, and many more. They are all found in the televison but I have my own hero.
Those heroes are my father & my mother. They take good care of us and work for our better future. My father is now an OFW in Saudi and he is working to pay their debts and to earn money for our needs in school and in our daily needs. Of course, that is not enough to sustain our daily needs. That's why my mother is working in the farm w/ our little help to help sustain our daily eeds. For a woman, it is hard for her to work in the farm that's why me, my younger brother, and my uncle are helping her in the farm.
My parents are the heroes of my life and will always be.

"State of the Nation Address"

The State of the Nation Address is an event that happens annually on the last Monday of the seventh month of the year.
The SONA of this year was delivered by President Benigno Simeon Aquino III at 4:00 PM last July 25, 2011. The President delivered his speech in Filipino language or the "Tagalog" w/ no paper to read. I admire him for that reason. But, delivering a speech that is lacking in content like many people have said. Because, he mentioned problems and problems w/ no definite solutions. And what many people was expecting an increase in their salary was dismayed.
President Aquino must do better things for the nation and for the people. So that his next year SONA would be better.

"Isulong ang Breastfeeding-Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo

Breastfeeding is about a mother giving milk to her baby. It gives more nutrients to the baby so that the baby will not get sick easily.
A mother must be healthy so that the milk that she will give to her baby will be nutritious. Breastfeeding is more nutritious than any other milk. Milk from animals like cows and from commercial milk sold at the market. Breastfeeding is the best way of giving milk to a baby because it is nutritious. To make the milk that the mother is giving to the baby, the mother must eat healthy foods such as vegetables so that the baby will be healthy too. If the mother is not healthy, then the baby will easily get sick because the milk the baby is drinking is not healthy.
Mothers must continue to breastfeed their babies. Because breastfeeding is best recommended.
